EV Ramakrishna was born in Guntur, AP on August 26th 1950. He lived an exemplary life of a saint by heart and householder by function with much sacrifice and personal integrity. A list of qualities he taught to be imbibed are humility, friendliness, patience, wisdom, ability to listen, ability to argue with clarity of mind but to put it across in a soft-natured manner, strength of mind, hard-work, ability to artfully communicate with coworkers, ability to execute with perfection and speed with out-of-the-box technological solutions, clarity of goals and targets in one's job, control of one's senses, compassion, fortitude, austerity, inner peace, meditation, realizing the truth behind the creation and non-violence. These were truly the flowers we can offer God, in his opinion. Qualities he recommended to be shunned are intolerance of uncertainty, intolerance of feelings of anxiety, being persistently doubtful, taking upon too much responsibility, excessive what-if evaluation of scenarios, playing out of extraordinary (viparIta) cause and effect situations in one's mind, over-controlling, being too much of a perfectionist. For lifestyle, he recommended continuously chanting Om Namo Bhagavate Sri Vidyaranyaya, practicing Pranayama, cooking one's own meals, living a life of moderation and not being a workaholic, being neatly dressed, not consuming content that is too intense but to instead watch humorous Telugu and Hindi movies. He was an avid investor, skilled cook, dynamic shipping professional, proficient in Sanskrit and Vedanta, well-travelled and steadfastly held on to this roots throughout the 71 years of his life.
This website seeks to continue his legacy.
